Arabic version of ‘Game of Thrones’ set to air in Ramadan

Ramadan is a month of fasting and late night feasting on food and star-studded Arabic dramas. This Ramadan isn't any different with a Syrian version of the hit HBO show ‘Game of Thrones’.  The Arabic series is titled "Orchidea' is directed by Syrian actor-director Hatem Ali, features characters very similar to those from the Golden Globe award-winning show. The series revolves around such characters as “Queen Khatoon,” “Prince Namek” and “Princess Ramlah.” Orchidea will air on Abu Dhabi TV starting May 27.
